Football fans here made a big fuss yesterday when tickets for the Malaysia Cup finals were allegedly sold out but obviously the tickets are still available today, and are sold by touts.
It is understood these individuals made a killing selling the tickets at RM45 each although they were bought at a price subsidised by the state government.
A Bernama survey at the compound of the Terengganu Football Association office this afternoon found at least one black market ticket seller looking for customers willing to pay almost double for a ticket.
According to a buyer Rosamiza Omar, 45, he was forced to buy the tickets despite the exorbitant price as there were no more tickets available since yesterday.
“I also went to the state assembly constituency offices as I understand state assembly and parliamentary constituency offices were allocated 500 tickets each. However, I was told they have yet to receive any,” he added.
