The PAS Miri Chief cum PAS Sarawak Deputy Commissioner iii Jofri Jaraiee in a press release wants to know why the big clock at Bulatan Park is still not fully functional.
He stated in a press release that while the cost of construction including large clock tower is worth millions of ringgit but only seen as a ‘white elephant’.
Jaraiee stated that the tax payers would like to know whether the cost of repairing the clock was too exorbitant that Miri City Council (MCC) is unable to fix the clock.
He requested that the parties responsible for the maintenance of the clock and MCC act promptly on addressing public complaints.
He claimed that the initial reports on the above-mentioned matter was still unresolved until today.
