Kuala Lumpur Police yesterday presented a cheque for RM103,000 to the widow of Sergeant Ibrahim Mat Husin, a police
outrider who died of heart complications on Sept 29.
Kuala Lumpur police chief Mohmad Salleh handed the cheque to Fakhriah Abdul Raof, 41, at the Kuala Lumpur police headquarters here.
“I am thankful for this aid. It will help cover my children’s schooling and daily expenses,” said the mother of three sons aged between 14 and 19.
Ibrahim, 51, an outrider for Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak since 2009, died at Kuala Lumpur Hospital after complaining of breathing difficulties and was buried in his hometown of Parit Buntar, Perak.
