Prime Minister Najib Razak said the government does not know how to cheat the people nor manipulate historical facts as was being done by the opposition.
He said the Barisan Nasional (BN) government’s struggles were on the right track and clear besides fulfilling the pledges and responsibilities to bring prosperity to the people and country.
What the opposition was propagating, including the pledges made during the 2008 general election, which had not been fulfilled until now, were only for their own political interests and agenda.
“Our struggles are to ensure that the country progresses further and people enjoys greater prosperity. We have been championing this cause right from the start, it is nothing new.
“We have very clear agenda…others (the opposition) have nothing that we can hold on to,” he said at the Aidilfitri gathering with almost 300 members of the Association of Former Members of the Social Welfare Development Department (PBAKM) at the Prime Minister’s residence, Seri Perdana, today.
