Kedah state government angry about posters of Anwar

“It is acts of a cowardice! It is a Hari Raya Celebration and the insult to our leader was uncalled for” said Wan Salleh when met at the Open House attended by approximately 8,000 people.

Posters critical of  opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim was seen  upon his visit to Alor Setar. The posters adorned the streets of Jalan Langgar in conjunction with the Keadilan Kedah – Hari Raya Aidilfitri Open House celebrations. The state government cried foul stating that they are fake.

The posters were believed to have been hung up the night before shouting a message to Anwar to stop confusing the people of Kedah.

The posters also carry the Kedah State Government’s Logo and the log of PAS, the ruling party making them look authentic and almost as if it was an effort made by the state government.

“It is acts of a cowardice! It is a Hari Raya Celebration and the insult to our leader was uncalled for” said Wan Salleh when met at the Open House attended by approximately 8,000 people.
