Business investment delegates visit Iskandar Malaysia

According to Chen Jian, the Wenzhou Province had presently set up 9 external corporations and USD2.14 Million had been invested in Malaysia.

100 business delegates from the Wenzhou Province of China recently visited Iskandar Malaysia to study the business investment potential in this southern economic development corridor.

The delegates, lead by the Deputy Mayor of Wenzhou Province, Mr. Xu Yu Fei and The Deputy Director of Wenzhou Business Cooperation Authority Mr. Chen Jian and the group of business investors started the 3-day visit on September 7th in Johor.

According to Mr. Chen Jian, there are 8 sectors of investment areas that the Wenzhou Province Business Delegate are looking into for the cooperation  with Iskandar Malaysia.

Industires of interest include the shoe-making, furniture, agriculture, electrical compliance, printing, motorcycle, vehicle compliance related industries and property investment.

According to Chen Jian, the Wenzhou Province had presently set up 9 external corporations and USD2.14 Million had been invested in Malaysia.

Malaysia and Wen Zhou has close relations in the trading, whereby business transactions which amounted to USD 280 Million in export was made in 2010.

 The delegates received a warm welcome from Johor Tourism and Domestic Trade Affair Committee Chairman EXCO, YB Hoo Seong Chang and CEO of Iskandar Malaysia, Mr. Ismail Ibrahim and 300 local business representative at Puteri Pan Pacific Hotel recently.
