Toll charges will be imposed on Sept 1 on the Kuala Lumpur-Kuala Selangor Expressway or Latar Expressway which links Kuala Lumpur at Templer’s Park in Gombak to Ijok in Kuala Selangor on the west coast of peninsular Malaysia.
KL-Kuala Selangor Expressway Berhad announced today the toll was RM2 at each of the three toll plazas for vehicles with two axles and three or four wheels (excluding taxis and buses), RM4 for vehicles with two axles and five or six wheels (excluding buses) and RM6 for vehicles with three or more axles (excluding buses).
The toll was RM1 for taxis and RM2 for buses, it said in a statement.
Smart tag and Touch n Go lanes were also provided at the toll plazas, it added.
The 33-km dual-carriageway Latar Expressway, which was opened on June 23, serves the townships of Kuala Selangor, Assam Jawa, Ijok, Bestari Jaya (Batang Berjuntai), Kota Puteri, Puncak Alam, Bukit Jelutong, Sungai Buloh, Kundang, Rawang and Selayang.
It has four interchanges that provide ready access to the west coast via Kuala Lumpur at Templer’s Park, the Plus North-South Expressway and the Guthrie Corridor Expressway.
