Wacoal Malaysia hosted a party for invited guests on September 6, 2013 at Parkson Counter, Gurney Plaza, Penang, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Salute lingerie line.
Around 100 female guests turned up elegantly in black or gold, in line with the theme for the night.
The party kicked off to a spread off sumptuous food and followed by a models showcasing the Salute’s Spring/Summer collection.
Wacoal Malaysia’s general manager Vincent Leong said that the Salute range has evolved from just designing evening slips in 1983 in Japan, to creating a full range of intimate apparels beaming with captivating hues and dashing details.
“Staying true to its aspiration of fulfilling Asian women’s desire for European flair lingerie, Salute is produced precisely to suit petite frames. Wacoal’s exclusive collaborations with avant-garde lacemakers lend a novel touch to the textile that has been held dear for centuries.” he said in a written statement.
“Continuing to flaunt the enduring and ostentatious beauty of laces, the latest collection is ablaze with vibrant hues of floral motifs that seemingly spring into life with charm and vitality – attesting to Wacoal’s decades of expertise in producing credible and well-loved intimate apparels.”
After the showcase the guest were given time to shop around for the Salute lingerie with the discount coupons, which was provided earlier. The event ended with a lucky draw and guests receiving goody bags.
