Bringing rays to the Sunshine kids

JOHOR- The Rotary Club of Johor Straits View organised a fun filled day for 52 cancer stricken children at Sultan Ismail Hospital of Taman Mount Austin.

The Rotary Club of Johor Straits View brought beautiful rays of sunshine into the lives of 52 cancer-stricken children at the Paediatric Oncology Ward of the Sultan Ismail Hospital of Taman Mount Austin, when they organised a party last weekend.

At the party, the club organised entertainment in the form of a clown, a magician, entertainment, lunch, games and a colouring contest.

This was an annual project by the club for the last 16 years with the intention of bringing cheer and hope to the unfortunate children as well as to give them a brief respite from their daily routine and often painful treatment.

Both In and Out-patients who turned up at the party were accompanied by their parents and siblings. Doctors and nurses from the hospital as well as members of the club and the Johor Royal Lodge who were co-hosting the party and well-wishers made the occasion memorable.
