International exposure for local business at JB-ASEAN International Expo

JOHOR BAHRU-The Johor Bahru Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (JBCCCI) hosted an international expo themed “JB-ASEAN International Expo” at Persada Johor Convention Center.

The Johor Bahru Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (JBCCCI) hosted an international expo themed “JB-ASEAN International Expo” from September 19 to September 21 2013 at Persada Johor Convention Center.

According to the President of JBCCCI Dato Loh Liam Hiang, this expo provides a platform for both local and overseas exhibitors to interact and widen their business network.

He further stressed that, this will raise the competitiveness of local goods and services to conform to international standards in order to export to foreign countries.

The objectives of this expo is to establish an International Business and Commercial Exchange Platform to promote the exchange of domestic and overseas businesses. Secondly, to enhance the interaction and cooperation between local and foreign business and raise competitiveness of local goods and services to conform to international standards for export to foreign countries, and thirdly to promote and further enhance Johor’s economic vitality and tourism industry to foreign visitors and exhibitors, especially Iskandar Malaysia.

The High Commission of Bangladesh, Zambia, Kenya together with the Vietnam Embassy and Republic Indonesia Congulate General were represented in the group of exhibitors at the Expo.
