The rewards for Kelantan footballers for lifting the Super League title will be discussed by the Kelantan Football Association, said its president, Tan Sri Annuar Musa.
“The footballers should be rewarded for creating history for Kelantan,” he told reporters after the Red Warriors defeated Sabah 2-1 in their last match at the Likas Stadium, last night.
Annuar said he would announce the rewards during a welcoming home ceremony for the footballers in Kota Baharu on Friday.
Kelantan coach Datuk M. Karatu said the players were hardworking and in control for almost the entire part of the match against Sabah.
He said he was happy that some 800 Kelantan fans, who came to support the team, did not go home disappointed.
