15 hours water supply disruption in Pasir Gudang

Water supply to Pasir Gudang will be disrupted for fifteen hours on June 18 from 9am to 12 midnight, announced Syarikat Air Johor (SAJ)

Head of corporate communications of SAJ Holdings Sdn. Bhd., Jamaluddin Jamil said SAJ will be carrying out maintenance work on its Sungai Layang water treatment plant here in Pasir Gudang on that day.

The affected areas include Pusat Bandar Pasir Gudang, Hospital Penawar, Pusat Hemodialisis, Darul Hanan, Poliklinik An-Nur, MAsjid Jamek Pasir Gudang, Hotel Selesa, Menara Aqabah, Taman Air Biru, Taman Mawar, Taman Bukit Dahlia and Taman Pasir Putih

The whole of Pasir Gudang industrial areas specifically  Jalan Keluli, Jalan Timah, Jalan Gangsa, Jalan Suasa, Jalan Besi, Jalan Perak, Jalan Tembaga, Jalan Emas, Jelan Pekeliling and Jalan Besar will also be affected.

Other areas like Medan Selera Kebayan, Panasonic, Polymer Latex, MMHE, Sultan Iskandar power station, YTL power station, Johor Port, Industrial Training Institute, police station, the fire station, TM, Tahfiz Religious School, Pasir Gudang Stadium, Johor Bahru Polyclinic, kampung Pasir Putih, Kampung Pasir Gudang Baru, JCorp industrial area and Plentong industrial area will also be affected during the same period.

Areas in Desa Rakyat flat, Felda Cahaya Baru, Jalan Kong Kong, Taman Flora Heights, Taman Saujana, Plentong and Mount Austin Industrial area will encounter low water pressure supply.

Consumers have been advised to store up adequate water during the water supply disruption period.
