BN Youth wants committee to study youth parliament proposal

The Sarawak Barisan Nasional Youth will study the possibility of setting up a special committee to get feedbacks on the proposed setting up of a youth parliament by Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak.

The Sarawak Barisan Nasional (BN) Youth will study the possibility of setting up a special committee to get feedbacks on the proposed setting up of a youth parliament by Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak.

Its leader, Fadillah Yusof, who is Deputy Science, Technology and Innovation Minister, said the matter would be discussed at the next state BN Youth executive council meeting.

He said although the proposal to set up a youth parliament was a good one, a study on the implementation mechanism was necessary because it would involve huge cost.

“It also has to be realistic in terms of implementation,” he told reporters after opening the Alpha One Healthcare Centre, a private alternative medical centre which offers free treatment , today.
