Ministry aims RM5.5mil sales from wedding promotion event

The Information Communication and Culture Ministry has set a sales target of RM5.5 mil from the wedding promotion event organised by its agency, Kraftangan Malaysia, this year.

KUALA LUMPUR – Wedding is the new black. Jumping on the sunrise wedding industry bandwagon, the Information Communication and Culture Ministry has set a sales target of RM5.5 mil from the wedding promotion event organised by its agency, Kraftangan Malaysia, this year as compared to last year’s target of RM4.75 million.

Its Deputy Minister, Datuk Maglin Dennis D’Cruz said the target was achievable, arising from the increase in the number of participating entrepreneurs who were offering various wedding decorations and accessories with high quality and reasonable price. He said 146 entrepreneurs and 105 wedding consultants were taking part in the 12-day promotion, held at Craft Complex in Jalan Conlay here, beginning yesterday.
