CRIT and Tune Talk, Asia’s leading cloud-native telco, kick off Season 4 of the ACS EDU TOUR — a nationwide esports movement empowering young Malaysians to level up from passionate players to professional talents in the fast-growing digital economy.
Now in its fourth consecutive year, the ACS EDU TOUR has evolved into one of Malaysia’s most dynamic youth empowerment platforms, connecting university and college students through gaming, creativity and community-building. Organised by CRIT Malaysia, this new season goes beyond competition by introducing participants to real-world career opportunities across game development, event production, broadcasting, project management and marketing.
This year’s edition also comes with its boldest upgrade yet: a RM200,000 prize pool and a landmark reward — a professional contract with CRIT for the champion team, propelling student gamers into the global esports arena.

Turning players into professionals
CRIT Malaysia’s mission for 2025 is clear: to develop not just champions, but future industry leaders. The “Zero to Hero” ethos at the heart of the ACS EDU TOUR reflects this commitment, transforming grassroots enthusiasm into professional pathways.
“With Tune Talk’s support, we’ve been able to take the ACS EDU TOUR Season 4 to new heights — reaching more campuses and inspiring more young Malaysians than ever before,” said Joshua Lew, Co-Founder of CRIT Esports Malaysia. “Together, we’re not just running a tournament, we’re building a movement that connects passion with purpose and turns players into professionals.”
The expanded outreach of this year’s tour signals a growing demand among students seeking both competition and career-building in Malaysia’s accelerating digital economy.
Tune Talk powers dreams
As Malaysia’s fastest-growing Mobile Network Operator and the nation’s only fully cloud-native telco, Tune Talk has positioned itself as a champion for the digital generation — delivering not only connectivity but empowerment.
“At Tune Talk, we’ve always believed that esports are more than just games — it’s a culture, a career, and a catalyst for self-expression,” said Jill Yeap, Head of Marketing at Tune Talk. “We’re here to fuel that fire with real speed and no limits. Tune Talk has always gone beyond data and connectivity — we’re powering dreams, breaking barriers, and giving youth the platform to express and excel.”

Yeap added that the initiative is tied to the Tune Talk Youth Esports Programme, a long-term effort to build Malaysia’s esports talent pipeline and make digital empowerment accessible, inclusive and aspirational.
Beyond esports, Tune Talk’s empowerment efforts extend to real-life protection. The telco recently enhanced its built-in Personal Accident insurance coverage, now offering up to RM150,000 protection at no extra cost for all Epik Plan users — reinforcing its commitment to safeguarding Malaysians both online and offline.
Guided by its brand purpose, “Tune Up Your World,” Tune Talk is shaping a digital ecosystem where young Malaysians can thrive on their own terms. From cutting-edge 5G offerings to gaming-centric rewards and purpose-driven programmes, the telco aims to strengthen Malaysia’s role as a regional leader in digital culture and innovation.
For CRIT and Tune Talk, the ACS EDU TOUR Season 4 marks more than the start of another tournament — it strengthens a movement that celebrates youth creativity, fuels ambition, and unlocks opportunities within Malaysia’s booming esports and digital economy.
