Safi, Malaysia’s No. 1 Halal skincare and personal care brand, has taken another step in its mission to empower women by equipping them with the confidence and entrepreneurial skills necessary to shape a brighter future. Teaming up with Watsons Malaysia, the brand successfully conducted the Bengkel Keusahawanan & Keyakinan Diri initiative, a program designed to cultivate self-reliance and independence among women.
Held in conjunction with Ramadan, the workshop was further enriched by a special buka puasa session for the women and single mothers of Rumah Titian Kaseh. This event was not just a celebration of togetherness but also a reflection of the Islamic values of generosity and support for those in need. It highlighted Safi’s holistic approach to empowerment, where personal and spiritual growth go hand in hand.
Renowned women’s advocate, Yang Berbahagia Tan Sri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil, Chairman of Malaysia Women and Family Affairs Council (HAWA Malaysia), graced the event alongside her team. Their presence added a meaningful touch to the initiative, reinforcing the importance of support systems in women’s empowerment.
Workshops foster entrepreneurship growth
The Bengkel Keusahawanan & Keyakinan Diri featured two specialized sessions aimed at equipping participants with practical skills:
- Skincare Bouquet Arrangement Workshop – A creative session that taught women how to craft unique bouquets using Safi skincare products. This activity not only fostered creativity but also introduced entrepreneurial skills that could help participants generate income.
- Skincare & Personal Care Grooming Workshop – Focused on enhancing self-care routines, this session emphasized the role of personal grooming in boosting confidence, using Safi’s range of skincare and personal care products.
Recognizing the importance of long-term support, Safi announced a RM10,000 donation to Rumah Titian Kaseh along with a one-year supply of Safi products for the home.
“At Safi, we believe that empowerment transcends skincare; it encompasses building confidence and equipping women with the skills to shape their futures. Through initiatives like today’s workshop, we aim to inspire and uplift women, helping them unlock their full potential,” said Kazlina Kassim, Brand & Insights Specialist at Safi Malaysia.
Biasiswa Siswi Safi returns
During the workshop, Safi unveiled a short film titled Serlah Seri Diri, Anugerah Dihayati, which tells the inspiring story of a young woman, Seri, who overcomes challenges to pursue her dreams. The video reinforces Safi’s message that opportunities are abundant, but it is one’s determination that ultimately defines success.
Further strengthening its commitment to women’s empowerment, Safi announced the return of the Biasiswa Siswi Safi for its second year. This scholarship program aims to provide young women with financial support to pursue higher education, enabling them to become future leaders of Malaysia.
With a total scholarship fund of RM1,000,000, Safi seeks to transform futures through education. By investing in the academic aspirations of young women, the brand hopes to drive national progress and inspire the next generation of empowered female leaders.
