Tealive lights up KL skyline with giant bubble tea cup

Tealive makes waves on International Bubble Tea Day, unveiling KL’s Largest Bubble Tea Cup atop TSLaw Tower, brewing positivity with new tagline

The Kuala Lumpur skyline was set aglow with vibrant LED lights as Tealive, the top regional lifestyle tea brand, unveiled the “Largest Tealive Bubble Tea Cup” atop the 48-storey TSLaw Tower. This dazzling display marked the celebration of International Bubble Tea Day and introduced Tealive’s new tagline of “Brewing Positivity.”

Transforming two facades of the iconic tower into a virtual canvas, Tealive created an awe-inspiring spectacle, with each facade measuring an impressive 185 meters in height and spanning 40 meters and 36 meters wide respectively. The remaining sides of the tower were adorned with static displays featuring the brand’s new tagline and other uplifting messages.

Bryan Loo, the founder and CEO of Loob Holding Sdn Bhd, the parent company of Tealive, expressed his delight in delighting Malaysians with this grand gesture on International Bubble Tea Day. “Our tea lovers have often looked forward to our ‘Breakthrough’ Campaigns. Now, we’re ready to excite them further with new tastes and frontiers as we look to create and stir up a positive atmosphere and mindset in everything we do,” he stated.

Brewing Positivity

With the aim of strengthening the bond with its customers, Tealive introduced the tagline “Brewing Positivity,” utilizing the vast space of TSLaw Tower totaling 25,633.12 square meters. Loo explained, “We want to unleash the power of this tagline and take it to new heights through inspiring stories of Tealive, as celebrating the Malaysian spirit of unity is what #TealiveBrewingPositivity is all about.”

In conjunction with the new tagline, Tealive unveiled its new mascot, Bru, a character embodying a quirky, funky persona. Bru, with a boba in a milk tea as its head, aims to counter negative vibes with its wise mind and edgy personality.

The Bru-niverse Experience

The launch event, held at Lot 10 Bukit Bintang on April 30th, invited the public to immerse themselves in “The Bru-niverse,” featuring a range of engaging activities such as Giant Boba Toss, Run with Bru, Snap a Bru-file, Try our Mega Pearl drink, and Grab your personalized Yumbler. The campaign, running until May 5th, was amplified across all social media channels, encouraging nationwide participation.

The weekend festivities were further enhanced with special dance performances by Tealive’s tearistas and an exciting opportunity to guess the Mystery Bru with Warner Music celebrities.
