Registration for The Spartan Race Kuala Lumpur is Now Open

KUALA LUMPUR – Reebok Spartan Race, the world’s leading obstacle racing series is now back with the registration for the Spartan Race Kuala Lumpur Sprint on Saturday, 10 October 2015 is now open.

Reebok Spartan Race, the world’s leading obstacle racing series is now back with the registration for the Spartan Race Kuala Lumpur Sprint on Saturday, 10 October 2015 is now open.  The first of its kind to feature timing and global rankings the Spartan Race has made obstacle racing one of the fastest growing sports in the world. Voted Outside Magazine’s Best Obstacle Race, it had over 130 events in 17 countries in 2014 alone.

It is open to individuals aged 14 and above with competitive Elite heats and Open heats for all fitness levels. There are three different race formats – the Spartan Sprint (6km-7km, 22 obstacles); the Spartan Super (12km, 30 obstacles) and Spartan Beast (21km, 40 obstacles).

Each racer will receive the coveted official Spartan Race Finishers T-shirt and race medal upon crossing the finish line. The top 3 fastest male and female Elite racers from the Elite Heats will win top cash prizes and a Spartan Race trophy.

A world-leading obstacle race, the Reebok Spartan Race will be one of the iconic events to anchor the National Sports Day which is expected to draw a whopping 15,000 participants The National Sports Day scheduled to be an annual event which would fall on the second Saturday of every October.

The race dubbed as obstacle racing’s ultimate test of endurance and strength has garnered over 120,000 Facebook likes to date. The rising popularity of this event shows that Malaysians are serious about fitness and health.
