The Nissan Serena, Navara, Sylphy and Latio, sold by Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd (ETCM) is not affected by the recent recall of 2.1 million Nissan vehicles worldwide.
However, it said there was a possibility that only some units of the fully-imported Nissan March sold by ETCM may be affected by the recall exercise, the company said in a statement today.
However, ETCM said a safety service campaign has been activated for all Nissan March models, sold in Malaysia, and owners are advised to bring their cars to the nearest Tan Chong Express Auto Service Centre for inspection.
All labour and replacement parts for the safety check would be free-of-charge.
