In a recent Instagram post, Garena revealed that Nextterra is set to undergo a comprehensive “2.0” revamp. This revamp will encompass a redesigned Zipway, a reduction in map size, structural adjustments, and Budlings readjustments. These changes aim to breathe new life into the gameplay and meta on Nextterra. The OB43 update for Free Fire MAX is scheduled to roll out on January 24th.
Key Updates from Free Fire OB43 Advance Server:
Zoner Timer Update: The safe zone adjustments on the battle royale map will accelerate the match pace. The second zone timer has been reduced from 80 to 60 seconds after landing, and the third zone’s shrink time drops from 75 to 50 seconds.
Change in Vending Machine Economy: Vending machines will see revisions, including increased upgrade chip costs for the normal vending machine. New redeemable content, such as character skill cards, will be added to both normal and falling vending machines.
New Weapon: The M4A1 rifle, comparable to the M4, will be introduced and obtainable from the new Evoground Woodpecker mode.
Character Rebalance: Character abilities, including those of Sonia, Orion, Antonio, and Caroline, will be rebalanced based on player feedback.
Other Changes: The buy station system will be overhauled, and emote enthusiasts will be pleased to know that emote wheel slots are increasing from 8 to 12.
