SMC, Samsung unveil 90-Day ‘Time to Move’ challenge

Sunway Medical Centre has partnered with Samsung Malaysia Electronics to introduce the ‘Time to Move’ 90-day wellness programme, aimed at helping participants achieve better health and fitness. Participants in the programme will not only gain valuable health insights but also stand a chance to win exciting prizes, including the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 and Galaxy Watch7.

A Comprehensive Health Journey

The ‘Time to Move’ programme, designed for adults aged 18 and above who are not on medication, kicks off with a health screening at Sunway Medical Centre, priced at RM250. This screening, which must have been done within the last three months, includes a basic blood test and an InBody analysis to provide insights into critical metrics like muscle mass, body fat, and blood pressure. Participants are then equipped with a Samsung Galaxy Watch7 to track their health journey.

Samsung’s Galaxy Watch7 brings innovative health tracking capabilities, such as monitoring daily activity, calories burned, and sleep quality. Throughout the programme, participants engage in monthly challenges and group workout sessions, with support from Sunway’s healthcare professionals. The Galaxy Watch7, with its integration of Samsung Health, empowers participants to track real-time health data and make informed choices about their wellness.

Fitness Challenges and Rewarding Wellness

Over the 90-day period, participants will have access to a series of fitness talks and health challenges aimed at building fitness, nutritional understanding, and a strong wellness community. Samsung and Sunway Medical Centre selected 60 individuals out of 200 sign-ups to embark on this wellness journey, where they will receive personalized guidance and encouragement to reach their health targets.

At the end of the programme, participants will undergo a final assessment to compare their progress. Those who achieve a 70% improvement or higher will get to keep their Galaxy Watch7, while the participant with the most impressive health transformation will win a luxurious 3-day, 2-night stay at The Banjaran Hotsprings Retreat, valued at RM10,000, along with a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6.
