Under Armour, in collaboration with Malaysia’s leading running platform JomRun, turned the city streets into a spectacle of stamina and spirit with the UA Infinite Race — a night marathon inspired by Under Armour’s latest UA Run gear. The event highlighted the endurance-focused UA Infinite Pro 2 and UA Launch Elite collections, showcasing the gear’s promise to support long-distance runners with comfort, resilience, and peak performance.
Engineered for high-impact athletes, the new gear was at the heart of the race’s theme: pushing physical limits while drawing strength from camaraderie and purpose. “At Under Armour, our motto is ‘Protect This House,’ pushing your limits and drawing strength from one’s team and community,” said Samantha Lim, Commercial Director of Under Armour Malaysia. “At the UA Infinite Race, it was inspiring to see runners united by their goals: to challenge themselves, support each other in achieving their personal bests, or push through together as a team.”
Two race formats
The UA Infinite Race featured two race formats designed to appeal to both solo runners and collaborative competitors. The flagship 21.1km individual half-marathon category saw elite and amateur runners alike battle through the night, while the 21.1km team relay brought runners together to complete 10.5km each.
The relay format, which required two runners to alternate legs, emphasised not just endurance but also mutual trust and team dynamics — values closely tied to Under Armour’s athletic philosophy. Both categories exemplified strength, discipline, and community — with a strong turnout from fitness enthusiasts, running clubs, and Under Armour fans.
Celebrating champions
The night concluded with a celebration of personal and collective victories, as the top runners were awarded for clocking impressive race times under challenging conditions.
Individual 21.1km Winners:
- Women’s Champion: Noor Amelia Musa clocked 1 hour, 32 minutes, and 38 seconds.
- Men’s Champion: Hazman Akmal Bin Mohd Zalghani blazed through with 1 hour, 14 minutes, and 41 seconds.

From seasoned marathoners to rising talents, the participants brought grit and heart to the race, affirming the growing popularity of urban night runs in Malaysia.
New UA gear unveiled
Adding a uniquely Malaysian flavour to the international-standard race, Under Armour introduced the Infinite Café photobooth at the race village — a creative tribute to the beloved tradition of post-run kopi sessions at local kopitiams. Runners were invited to capture race-day moments against a vibrant café backdrop while trying out the latest UA Run gear.
The featured gear, the UA Infinite Pro 2, is built with UA HOVR+ cushioning that absorbs impact and returns energy to enhance long-distance performance. The complementary UA Launch Elite collection, crafted from Iso-Chill fabric, promises breathability and a feather-light feel — all designed to help runners stay cool and focused through every kilometre.
Both collections are now available at Under Armour outlets nationwide and online via www.underarmour.com.my, affirming the brand’s commitment to empowering athletes — whether they’re chasing a personal best or running for the sheer love of it.
