She takes home RM5,000 in cash and a university scholarship. In December, she will fly the Malaysian flag at the Miss Tourism International world final in the Philippines.
Here is who else won, what the Perak theme was and what happens next.
How Jauwadee Bun Chea won the crown

Fifteen finalists competed at the Kinta Riverfront Hotel in Ipoh. Ipoh Echo reported that they vied for three titles.
The final took place in the hotel’s Rafflesia Ballroom. Nine judges scored the finalists.
Two were former titleholders, Shirley Hew and Eugene Ooi. In addition, fashion designer Eric Choong and actress Angela Chan sat on the panel.
Jauwadee took the top title. As a result, she received a crown, a sash and a trophy, The Sun reported.
Her prizes include RM5,000 in cash and a scholarship at Quest International University. The report values the scholarship at RM50,000.
She also gets a Bintang Galeria jewellery set worth RM8,800, the same report said.
She also won two side awards. For example, Ipoh Echo named her Miss Photogenic and Miss Elegant.
The Sun said she will serve as a tourism ambassador for Malaysia. Her role covers the country’s culture, sights and hospitality, it said.
The Perak heritage theme

This year’s theme was “Beauty Exploration: Discover the Heritage & Adventure of Promising Perak”. Ipoh Echo said Perak hosted the final for a second time.
The pageant week ran from 7 to 18 October, The Sun reported. Finalists toured Ipoh’s heritage sites and tried local food.
Emily2u, a lifestyle blog, added that they also saw Ipoh Railway Station and Art Market Lane. It said they modelled batik made by students of DAYBREAK at AEON Mall Ipoh Station 18.
They also went to Kuala Sepetang for a nature trip. Meanwhile, they took part in cultural shows and charity work.
Timah Heritage Sdn Bhd, through its Timah Explorer brand, organised the final. However, Ipoh Echo said D’Touch International Sdn Bhd holds the franchise.
Jenny Choy Tsi Jen, the Perak Assembly Deputy Speaker, was the guest of honour. She spoke for state executive councillor Loh Sze Yee.
“Malaysia’s multicultural heritage, colourful traditions and harmonious society make our country truly special,” she said, as quoted by The Sun. She called the pageant “a gateway to the international stage”.
