Star Karnival Cuti-Cuti Malaysia is at Sunway Pyramid in Petaling Jaya until Sunday 25 October. Entry is free.
The travel fair is organised by Star Media Group, publisher of The Star, with Tourism Malaysia. It supports Visit Malaysia 2026-2027.
Here is what is on, what the organiser has said about prizes and deals, and where the fair goes next.
What is on at the Selangor stop

The Selangor stop runs from 23 to 25 October in the Orange Zone at Sunway Pyramid, mStar reported. More than 30 exhibitors are taking part.
The report said organisers had booked all exhibition space before the event. However, it did not give opening hours.
Therefore, check the organiser’s page at events.thestar.com.my/skccm for timings.
Named attractions include Skyline Luge KL and Petrosains. Berjaya Times Square Theme Park is there too. Muzium Coklat in Kota Damansara is on the list too.
For families, the list also has OWG’s Snow World and Wet World. Glory Pets, an ostrich show farm and KL Hop-On Hop-Off join in.
Selangor Fruit Valley, a park in Rawang, is the host attraction. There, activities include tractor and tram rides, a petting zoo and fruit picking.
Meanwhile, nature fans can look at Gopeng Glamping Park and other camping and canopy walk packages.
Hotels and resorts include Jerai Hills Resort and MU Hotel Ipoh. In addition, travel agencies offer packages to islands, Sabah and Sarawak.
Prizes, deals and what organisers say

Lucky draws, stage games and interactive activities run across the three days. For example, prizes include Batik Air domestic tickets, hotel stays, theme park vouchers and shopping vouchers.
Also, Batik Air is the official airline partner, Tourism Malaysia said at the Kuantan launch. It offers free tickets to selected lucky draw winners.
mStar said exhibitors have promotions available only during the fair. However, no package prices or discount percentages have been published in the reports we found.
Prize values, quantities and draw rules are also missing. Therefore, visitors may want to compare offers with direct bookings before paying.
Deputy Tourism Minister Chiew Choon Man spoke at the launch. He said: “For Malaysians, it offers more than just attractive travel deals.”
Likewise, in Kota Kinabalu, MP Datuk Chan Foong Hin said Tourism Malaysia wants Malaysians to explore their own country.
Overall, the slogan is “Destinasi Indah, Harga Rahmah”. That means beautiful destinations at affordable prices.
Where the fair goes next

First, the tour was launched at Menara Star on 24 June. Selangor is the fifth of six stops, Tourism Malaysia said. The tour began in Kuantan from 3 to 5 July.
After that, it moved to Johor Bahru, Kota Kinabalu and Penang. The Penang stop ran from 24 to 27 September.
Finally, the last stop is Plaza Merdeka in Kuching, from 30 October to 1 November. Organisers expect more than 200,000 visitors across the tour.
Still, we found no attendance or sales figures for earlier stops. Tourism Malaysia cited 290.1 million domestic visitors in 2025, and RM121 billion in domestic tourism spending.
In short, Star Karnival Cuti-Cuti is a free way to compare holiday offers in one place. Planning a trip? See our ECRL fares from RM60 story for rail costs. If you book a stay, read our Airbnb checkout chores report first.
