Dragons & lions in Ampang

Dragons and lions lead the Emperor Gods Procession on the 2nd day of the Festival to welcome the High God, Yuan Shui to Pekan Ampang.

Traffic in Pekan Ampang came to a complete halt, as the hour long Procession weaved through the narrow roads of Ampang. The brightly lit spires of the Petronas Twin Towers can be clearly seen from Ampang, giving added meaning to the Festival.

Thousands of devotees joined in the Procession carrying hugh lighted joss sticks and made their way back to the temple to complete their praying rituals.
