It was a day for dogs that saw the furry animals and their owners paraded on stage at the Halo Halloween event in SStwo Mall, Petaling Jaya on Oct 26, 2014.
The party kicked off at the mall’s atrium with a series of fun and furry Halloween activities, games for children and pets bazaar from 11am to 6pm.
The highlights were the entertaining doggie fashion show called Halloween Project Showcase by students of Pets Icon Grooming Academy and the grand finals of “Doggies Halloween Rock” photo contest where 10 finalists of dogs dressed up in Halloween costumes and their owners competed on stage to win the judges hearts for some cash and dog products worth more than RM6,000.
The dogs behaved extremely well with no barking or growling as they coolly strutted their stuff on the catwalk.
In the photo contest, a two-year old poodle named Stitch owned by 12-year-old Tong Wei Yan won the first prize.
The academy students put their grooming skills and talents what they learned in action amid rousing rounds of applause from the crowd.
