Nepali workers cultural show at St Barnabas church, Klang

KLANG – The event was organised to break their monotonous routine of the Nepali migrant workers.

Nepali migrant belting out hit numbers

Some 200 Nepali migrant workers gathered in the St Barnabas church in Jalan Dato Hamzah, Klang for a cultural program organised by the Migrant Ministry of Klang (MMK) on Sunday evening.

The event was organised, to bring the Nepali migrant workers, who works around  Klang area and to break their monotonous routine.

The cultural program saw dance routines, singer’s rendering Nepali hits as well as a full band belting out tunes to the enjoyment of the crowd.

Nepal ministry works closely with MMK to uplift and ease the burden of the Nepali migrant community around Klang.

They have successfully conducted  projects such as leadership training, movie screening, theological training and started a library for the migrant communities.

MMK also actively works together with Cambodian, Myanmar and Vietnam migrant community.
