Planting ‘Malaysian Spring’ flowers at Bandar Utama

BANDAR UTAMA – Malaysian Spring is ‘rakyats’ effort to spread the message of change and getting people to participate in the process of change.

Some 150 residents from Bandar Utama,Petaling Jaya turned up to plant “ flowers” at the traffic junction of Lebuh Bandar Utama and  Jalan Tanjung, recently.

This event was organised by anNGO known as Malaysian Spring

The rain did not deter them and they continue on at the Bandar Utama roundabout.

According to the NGO, Malaysian Spring is ‘rakyats’ effort to spread the message of change and getting people to participate in the process of change.

The NGO started planting flowers because it is simple.They also said that it is a peaceful act and brings beauty into the streets and neighbourhoods.

To date, 23,902 “flowers” had been planted.
