Sunway Medical Centre to host public forum on fertility

SUNWAY – With the huge advances achieved in fertility treatment in recent years, Sunway Medical Centre aims to help couples achieve their dream of having a biological child.

Infertility is one of the most common health issues faced by people between the ages of 20 and 45 worldwide, with as many as 1 in every 7 couples affected by this medical problem.

Like many other medical conditions, it is important to treat it with urgency for better rates of success.

With the huge advances achieved in fertility treatment in recent years, Sunway Medical Centre aims to help couples achieve their dream of having a biological child. It is working together with its team of experts in committing their experience and knowledge to offer quality medical care to suit patients’ needs – using the least invasive method of treatment.

Sunway Medical Centre is inviting the public to join the  forum, which will be conducted by Dr Kannappan Palaniappan, the Consultant for Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Fertility Specialist share information on infertility and treatment options. Ms Yee Siew Yin, the Fertility Centre Manager will also explain more about the lab.

The first 60 couples will receive free fertility counselling, semen analysis and female hormone testing.
