His badly damaged motorcycle was found 70 metres away.
Batu Gajah OCPD ACP Najib Mohamad said the victim was identified as R.Paramsivam, 43, of Taman Bemban Raya, Batu Gajah.
He urged eyewitnesses to contact the Batu Gajah police station at05-3629222 to assist police investigation.
