Singaporean golfer dies during a round at Senai

Singaporean golfer dies while during a round of golf with friends at a golf resort here, in Senai.

A 63-year-old Singaporean golfer died here during a round of golf with his friends at a resort here in Senai.

In the 8.55am incident, Charles Tan Kim Swee suddenly encountered breathing difficulties after getting off his golf buggy at the 10th hole, said the OCPD of Kulaijaya, Zulkefly Yahya.

Charles’s friends quickly administered CPR on him while waiting for the arrival of the ambulance.

He was pronouced dead by the ambulance medical team.

Zulkefly said the deceased had a heart condition and underwent a heart by-pass two years ago.

The case has been classified as sudden death.

Meanwhile, the deceased’s body has been sent to Temenggong Seri Maharaja Tun Ibrahim hospital for a post-mortem.
