Underprivileged children treated to Hi-Tea at KL Tower

KUALA LUMPUR – About 10 members and volunteers spent an afternoon with the children, consisting of boys and girls, and treating them to a scrumptious buffet spread.

50 underprivileged children consisting of boys and girls of various ages and their guardians from Yayasan Sunbeams Home and Ti-Ratana Children’s Home enjoyed an afternoon High Tea at Atmosphere 360 revolving restaurant, KL Tower on 2 June 2017.

Led by Danny Liew, organising coordinator of Lotus Heart Association, about 5 members and volunteers spent an afternoon with the children, and treating them to a scrumptious buffet spread.

After taking their meals, the children enjoyed a panoramic view of the city from the glass windows at 282 metres up in the sky.

“Despair often plague the underprivileged and we are delighted to bring joy and happiness to the hearts of these underprivileged children. We hope they had a great time at KL Tower,” said Danny Liew adding, “We are very grateful to Dato’ Ringo Kaw for his immense generosity in sponsoring this special event.”
