The MIC Youth is appealing for well-wishers to donate generously in helping the flood victims who are enduring the worst floods ever to have occurred in Kedah and Perlis.
Its wing chief T. Mohan today called on the public to contribute anything ranging from food, blankets, clothing to financial aids during the emergency period.
The Kedah MIC Youth has begun to distribute humanitarian aids to the victims, which has amounted to 22,825 in the entire state.
“We hope that corporate companies can also contribute as part of their corporate social responsibility,” he said.
Although latest reports show that floodwaters continue to subside, thousands of evacuees are still staying at the relief centres across the state.
