Shafika Mohd Shafiee who eloped with her Indonesian boyfriend to Lombok nearly a month ago arrived at Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) here tonight.
She was met on arrival by father Mohd Safiee Sardi, mother Mazarah Abdul Latef and Kelab Putera 1Malaysia president Datuk Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim.
The 16 year-old girl regretted her action and advised others not to follow her footsteps.
“I apologise to my father and mother for what happened. I missed them so much during Aidilfitri,” she added.
Shafika from Ladang Rubana, Teluk Intan, Perak was reported to have eloped with an Indonesian named Misbah on Sept 4.
