Councils get RM100,000 each for clean-up work

The deadline is around the corner for councils to be judged for their progress in the Clean Zone programme.

It has been a year since the programme was initiated in Selangor.

According to state local government committee chairman Ronnie Liu, under the Zon Bersih (Clean Zone) programme, the dirtiest places in each municipality in Selangor are chosen and a one-year period is given for these to be turned into the cleanest place in the municipality.
