The Actors Studio Teater Rakyat is pleased to be working on another clash of contemporary and traditional theatre with Medea and we are on the look out for Triple Threats. If you can act, sing and dance, then we want you!
In Greek plays, the chorus plays an important role. They are both the spectators and also commentators in the play. But this time, we are adapting the play with a twist of Asian flavour. We will be taking the energy of the Greek chorus but using local and traditional material. We are searching for 15 chorus members who can act, sing and dance. We are looking for both male and female actors between the age of 20-35 years old. Come and be a part of this exciting new project under the umbrella of The Actors Studio Teater Rakyat.
Widening the net to attract the very best, TAS Teater Rakyat will be holding open auditions on Saturday 15th & 16th of May. Come in comfortable clothes as you will be asked to give us a taste of your acting, singing and dancing. All materials will be given to you during the auditions.

Full rehearsals for Medea will commence in July with Norzizi Zulkifli taking on the role of director of the production. The show is set to open in 13th-17th October.
