GAB Foundation is offering its Partial Scholarship Scheme to Malaysian students pursuing certificate, diploma or advanced diploma and undergraduate studies in recognised local and international institutions of higher learning.
This Partial Scholarship Scheme is part of GAB Foundation’s drive to support education in the local community, one of its key corporate social responsibility pillars.
Under the scheme, the GAB Foundation will disburse the following funds to successful applicants until the completion of their courses:
RM10,000 per year for undergraduate studies in a private local or foreign university/college
RM7,000 per year for undergraduate studies in a local public university/college
RM4,000 per year for diploma or advanced diploma courses
RM2,000 per year for certificate courses.
This is the second year the GAB Foundation is awarding scholarships under this scheme. Last year, a total sum of RM200,000 was disbursed to 19 recipients.
“The selection process for all applications received is conducted in a fair, transparent and stringent manner to ensure due consideration is given to each application,” says Saw Huat Lye, GAB Foundation’s chairperson.
