Program Penerangan Negeri is a Penang State event which will be held on 30 June 2011 at the Pesta Site in Sg Nibong.

Many speakers will take turns updating the people on the progress of the state government including CM Lim Guan Eng, Azmin Ali, Mat Sabu and even Toh Kin Woon. Ambiga is also invited to speak.

As this is an annual event that has been held consecutively for three years already with no untoward happenings, Sim believes CPO Wira Ayub was just over-reacting by saying that no police permit has been issued for this event.

To this Sim retorts that the event does not need a police permit to begin with as it is held at the Pesta site, which is a state-owned premise.

Sim revealed that this year a cultural show is included to entertain the audience.
