Economic divide that needs answers

Economic divide that needs answers

While one can easily see the admirable multicultural blend of “tamu” atmosphere happening on every Saturday at Kinarut, there seems to be an economic divide due to too much ethnical based business – i.e. Dusuns are selling wild produce, Malays sell kuih-mueh, Chinese go for household products but the PATI dorminate the fish business.

Obviously some profit more than the others. Are these economically healthy and fair? Is this what the Malaysians want?
