Raja dan rakyat berpisah tiada

A Royal Concert was held on 21st April 2012 at the Dataran Merdeka to celebrate the installation of the 14th Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah dan Seri Paduka Baginda Raja Permaisuri Agong, Tuanku Hajah Haminah.

The arrival of the Yang di Pertuan Agong and Permaisuri Agong was marked with grandeur  following the traditional practice  (adat istiadat) of the Palace.   Amongst the many dignitaries at the concert were the Prime Minister, Najib Razak and the Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin.

The finale to the concert was a fireworks display which lighted up the skies in front of  Bangunan Sultan Abdul Samad.
