The man behind Memali

PETALING JAYA – He reveals the most dangerous moments encountered and who saved his life during the attempted to arrest Ibrahim Mahmood (aka Ibrahim Libya).

On 19 November 1985, 18 Malaysians died in Kampong Memali , Kedah, when the police attempted to arrest Ibrahim Mahmood (aka Ibrahim Libya).

Tunku Muszaffar Shah bin Tunku Ibrahim, author of Memali: A Policeman Remembers, led the arrest of Ibrahim Libya.

He reveals the most dangerous moments encountered and who saved his life.
