Two private college students from Botswana were found dead after they were believed to have fallen at the Templer’s Park waterfall, yesterday.

Gombak police chief, ACP Abdul Rahim Abdullah said a man who was fishing in the area found two bags and passports and went looking for the owners.

“He, however, found the bodies of two males floating in the water about 6.45pm,” he said when contacted.

Abdul Rahim said the man then contacted the police about the discovery.

With the help of the Selayang Fire and Rescue station personnel, the bodies of the victims were brought out of the area at 10pm.

“They might have fallen from a high spot and did not die from drowning as the water level where their bodies were found was shallow,” he said, adding that the two dead were clad only in their underwear.

The bodies were sent to Selayang Hospital and police have classified the case as sudden death.
