Jimmy TanThe Board of Jeffrey Cheah Foundation Community Scholarship recently organised a get together event for its alumi at Sunway University.
Senior executive director of Sunway Education Group Elizabeth Lee welcome all the participants and was happy to be present amongst the scholars during this event.
Candy Lee, a recipient of the Jeffrey Cheah Foundation Community Scholarship expressed her gratitude for giving her the opportunity to achieve success in life as the experience was enriching and irreplaceable.
According to the director of Student Service Department Lee Siok Ping, 15 community scholarships are set each year for ‘budding potentials ‘between ages 18 to 25 through the recommendation from children welfare homes, NGOs or poor communities.
