Sultan of Johor to launch “Sejarah Adat Istiadat DiRaja Johor” at UTM

The Sejarah Adat Istiadat DiRaja Johor charts the historical evolution of Johor traditional culture, mainly from perspective of the Johor royalty.

A guide to the royal traditions of Johor, namely Sejarah Adat Istiadat DiRaja Johor,  will be launched by the Sultan of Johor, Duli Yang Maha Mulia Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan at Dewan Sultan Iskandar this week.

The book, published by UTM Press, is written by Abdul Rahim Ramli, secretary of Jumaah Majlis DiRaja Johor.  Abdul Rahim Ramli was the previous Johor state government secretary and served the Johor Royal Family for over 40 years, since 1964.

The Sejarah Adat Istiadat DiRaja Johor charts the  historical evolution of  Johor traditional culture, mainly from perspective of the Johor royalty.

The Johor royal family, which traces its roots back to the 17th century is well documented for its role in the development of  the modern Johor state.
