MPSJ to reward ‘patriotic’ citizens

The Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) is inviting the members of public to celebrate the Merdeka spirit by flying a Jalur Gemilang at any premise and to stand a chance to win attractive prizes.

The annual Jom Kibar campaign, which is held from August 1 to September 16 will give lucky folks a chance to win a 42″ LCD television, iPads, DSLR cameras and netbooks through the campaign.

The flag must be at least 2′ × 4′ or 2′ × 6′ and displayed on residential or commercial buildings. Contestants must register themselves through short-message service (SMS) by typing Jomkibar<space>name<*>address and send it to 39111.

MPSJ officials will conduct surprise visits to the contestant’s premise throughout the period to ensure flag displayed is in good shape.
