Nube shows no sign of stopping picket

KUALA LUMPUR – The rush hour traffic turned to the picketers advantage when the vehicles started blaring their horns in show of support.

National Union of Banking Employees recently organised a picket in front Wisma Genting, Jalan Sultan Ismail, with more than 200 of their members doing their usual routine to highlight the trade dispute between them and some leading banks in Malaysia.

The picket which started at 5.00pm under the watchful eyes of some 20 policemen, saw various placards denouncing the banks for ill-treating their employees being displayed.

The rush hour traffic turned to the picketers advantage when the vehicles started blaring their horns in show of support.

The picket ended around 7.00pm without any untoward incidents.
