Selangor Puteri Umno today lodged a police report against the Bersih rally to be held on July 9.
The report was made by Selangor Puteri Umno chief Suhaila M. Zin at the Shah Alam Police Headquarters in Section 9 here at 9.40am.
She urged the police to stop the rally saying it would affect public order and the country’s economy.
Yesterday, the police had asked the organisers of the Bersih rally, scheduled to be held here as well as in Sabah and Sarawak, to cancel the event as it would disrupt public order.
