The Sungai Batu Pahat Herbal Park which is among the tourist attractions in Perlis is to be further promoted in a booklet, “TheHerbal Trail”.
The Raja Muda, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail said publication has been set for next year and will coincide with the international Chelsea Flower Show 2012, in which Malaysia will participate.
He said this during the “Herb and Spices Royal Garden Tea” held in conjunction with the Raja of Perlis’ 68th birthday celebration in Sungai BatuPahat.
The booklet will showcase 400 species of flora. He also hoped the number of tourists to Perlis will increase with the effort by the state’s tourism promotion board (PTPB) to promote it internationally.
Apart from the park, Sungai Batu Pahat also has a golf course, a snake and reptile park, a vineyard and other tourist attractions.
Also present at the function were the Puan Raja Muda Tuanku Hajjah Lailatul Shahreen Akashah Khalil, PTPB chairman Ahbad Bakri Ali and Kangar member ofparliament Datuk Seri Radzi Sheikh Ahmad.
