More than 2,000 people are expected to gather at The Summit Subang USJ to enjoy the King of Fruits while doing their bit to fulfil the wishes of terminally ill children across the country.

Children’s Wish Society of Malaysia vice-president Teoh Teik Hoong said the Jom Durian promises to be even more fun on it’s seventh edition and those interested to join can purchase a RM20 ticket each to eat all the durian they can in one hour.

“Let’s all eat durian and raise funds to continue fulfilling the wishes of terminally-ill children.”

“The event is fully sponsored by The Summit Subang USJ. As such, every single sen raised will be channelled 100% to the society,” he said.

According to Teoh, CWS Malaysia had spent almost RM2mil to fulfil the wishes of more than 400 terminally-ill children in the past six years.
