The newest shopping mall in town, Nu Sentral marks its Chinese New Year with a touch that emanate the yesteryears by bringing shoppers on a journey back to the era of old through its festive theme – “Olden Golden KL”.
NU Sentral has magnificently created backdrop and detailed decor with ornaments such as old-fashioned shophouses, oriental decorations and antique furniture as well dolls.
The “Olden Golden KL” theme was officiated by MRCB group managing director Tan Sri Mohamad Salim Fateh Din and Pelaburan Hartanah Berhad (PHB) CEO Datuk Kamalul Arifin Othman.
The management of MRCB, PHB and NU Sentral Sdn Bhd also participated in the Yee Sang Tossing and officiated the Prosperity Goat.
The event was completed with the performance by Southern Lion Dance.
Nu Sentral Mall, which was opened in March, is a lifestyle haven for suburban shoppers and urban commuters.
The mall is owned by Nu Sentral Sdn Bhd, a joint venture between Malaysian Resources Corporation Bhd and Pelaburan Hartanah Bhd.
Opened at the end of March, the mall currently has 174 confirmed tenants, and another 29 more due to move in.
Its strategic location and connectivity makes it ideal for travellers to get there using the LRT, Monorail and KTM Komuter.
